You simply haven’t lived your life, until you have attended the Combine Demolition Derby in Lind, Washington. OMG was this a blast. In a town that normally has about 400 people, this event brought in over 4000 people that witnessed all the local (and some long distance farmers), try to kill each other with their custom Combines. I can’t tell you enough, how exciting this was. Between the crazy spectators, the crashing and scraping metal, the puncturing of tractor tires and the judges almost getting run over numerous times . . . this was a DO NOT MISS event.
Check out a few of the images that Commie and I brought back. Yes, we will be going back next year, and this time, with a FULL crew.
Enjoy . . .
Commie & Rain
Looks like a blast, gotta put that on my calendar. The names are pretty interesting too!
Crazzzy!
Number 7 is precious…was the little boy volunteering for the next tractor? He was having a great time with his own tractor. Lol
What a great thing to do with old combines! Haven’t been yet but will add to my list!
