I am a photographer.
The act of capturing a single solitary moment is unnatural and jarring to the senses. In real time, we observe and experience life in motion – one event leads to another and the context of each constitute the whole. Still life – moments frozen in time allow for subjection, interpretation and have the unique capacity to be both reminiscent and predictive.
The capacity and creative eye necessary to capture such unrepeatable glimpses into the living world is an incredible gift.
The ability to paint with light – to manipulate and utilize this often-taken-for-granted resource – is beautiful.
The fortuity to make a living making an impact in photo form is unreal.
