Ok . . . so we have come VERY close the last two years, but have yet to take first place. This year, we are not only ready, but testing our 2012 recipe and fine tuning it to “take home the trophy.” As some of you know, we always put a “secret ingredient” in ours and it has built quite the following for many who come and try to guess what it is. This year’s chili is no exception, and BOY is it a very interesting and  unusual ingredient. I don’t think anyone is going to guess this year. Last years was pineapple and the year before was Mexican Chocolate. And before you turn your nose up . . . .  they were both VERY liked by the crowd.

So we will let everyone know more about this in the next two weeks so keep watching the blog. We need a huge amount of support so plan to come out and spend a few hours with music, dancing, prizes and give-aways and of course, THE BEST DAMN CHILI THIS SIDE OF TEXAS !!!
