Yes, its Senior Picture Season . . .

Yes, its that time of year again, where the phone rings off the wall from parents who realize that in just a few short weeks the “Senior Picture” for the yearbook must be turned into the school. We are doing more than you would believe right now. Here are three new ones that were just shot the other day. One girl from North Central and Twin boys from Gonzaga Prep. We had a great time and the images look AWESOME !!!!

Megan and Kenneth chose the Country Life Wedding . . .

Some people just simply like the country life. So when Kenneth asked Megan to marry him, he was hoping that they could do so, by being at home in the country. Since they both train horses for a living, this was what comes easy for them and much more comfortable. Skye and Olivia had a great time shooting this event and the couple was “very easy” to work with. “They just seemed to always know how we wanted them to pose . . . and truthfully, it wasn’t even posing for either of them. They simply naturally were beautiful in front of the camera and a miracle to work with.”

We hope they love these images as much as we do. What an awesome couple to photograph. Good luck guys . . .

Off Camera Flash and the Art of Kung Fu

Pocket Wizards are beautiful pieces of equipment. They allow photographers to “get outside the box” in lighting shots and there are endless possibilities for creativity. Oh, I should also mention, Pocket Wizards are tons of fun too.

Here are a few shots done during a rainy day in Spokane. We headed back to our “secret” training lair to practice the art of Pocket Wizardry and Kung Fu.

The Spokane Club – Wedding to Remember . . .

This wedding was SUCH a good time. Every single piece was perfect. Not one thing out of place. The Spokane Club is always so spot on. The atmosphere, the food, the music, the wait staff . . . what can we say. It was simply a wonderful day, filled with smiles, memories and a wedding that we will not soon forget. Pinky and I shot this one and didn’t get back to the studio until after 1:30 in the morning. Kara and Rick . . . “Thanks for the memories” . . . we had a ball.

IsaBody Challenge / 2011 . . .

A local Liberty Lake woman has entered the IsaBody Challenge / 2011 this year. She needed a high impact marketing piece to send in with her story. After reviewing the location, the story she needed to tell, meeting her family . . . we came up with a very unique way to tell her story. She is a wonderful lady with a very unique story and family dynamic. Pinky, Billy Goat and I pulled this off last week and look forward to seeing if this will give Mary the “edge” that it takes to get into the “winners circle.” Good luck Mary . . .

Foto Booth – New Images from the Spokane Club . . .

Pinky and I had an absolute ball at the wedding of Kara Mackenzie and Rick Carlson last night at The Spokane Club. What a wonderful group of people. We laughed and laughed and laughed . . . all night long. The wedding was very memorable and simply stunning. The colors were awesome, the weather was perfect, the group was easy to work, the food was outstanding and everyone had a really good time. All of the images are currently being uploaded in the next couple of days to the website through the events tab. They should be up by Wednesday. Here are a few Foto Booth images to show everyone what a great time we had. These families are top notch in our book. AWESOME – AWESOME PEOPLE !!!

First Character Images from “The Cullective”

Here are the first character images from The Cullective. The costuming was awesome and Morghun, Eracia and The Child were great to work with. All had fun and we are ready to shoot the pilot here very soon. All other aspects are in line and audio is ready including sound effects. Soon it will be – “Houston . . . we have lift-off”

We are so excited about what’s to come with this. From the script and storyline, to the costumes and the filming and audio . . . this is just going to be a ball for everyone. The world really needs this new eComic. It is going to change the way people think of comic books, no doubt . . .

We were very pleased to be chosen as the lead photographers for the Get Lit festival this year. We had a blast and were at 7 different locations throughout the week. Dani Ward is simply the best to work with, and communicates at a very high level. Attached are a few images taken by Pinky and I, from the Ani Difranco concert on Friday night at the Bing Crosby theater. (What used to be “The Met”)

As you can see, we got some incredible images. Thanks goes out to out entire team, who pulled all of these events off without a hitch.

Curing Our Cabin Fever

We headed outside for a field trip on Saturday to cure our cabin fever. It was just what the photo doctor ordered! After driving around in the industrial area of the Spokane Valley, we found the Pea & Bean Company. building. The crew piled out of the car and began to search for cool and funky images. Premiere “edgeCast” – from The Vault . . .

Yes, the long awaited “edgeCast” is finally here. We hope this makes you laugh, and we are sure that a few will laugh at how corny we are sometimes. As you can see, we really believe that laughter is the best medicine. Our goal is to bring unique and valuable issues and information to our industry and fans (OMG – we have fans . . . ). We will be posting these “edgeCasts” on a regular basis and having very creative contests that will make “checking these out”, VERY worth while.

Now before we get tons of calls and emails saying, “why does the video look that way?” . . . you might want to think for a second, why we would do this? Yes, it is intentional and yes it was done to “get people to think.” We suggest that you watch and listen “VERY CLOSELY” as it could win you one of our contests down the road. (ha ha).

So . . . stay tuned, keep checking back, we always welcome ideas from our fans (OMG), and we will always be . . .
